MO Ho Justice is pleased to announce Sex Work 101—the inaugural event in our 2024 Decrim U political education series! This interactive session is designed to engage a broad audience in discussions surrounding sex work and its intersections with other social justice issues.


Topics covered:

  • Definition and types of sex work

  • Potential benefits vs. hazards of sex work

  • How criminalizing sex work harms workers and their communities

  • Distinguishing between sex work vs. human trafficking

  • Defining decriminalization vs. legalization of sex work

    • Option to use voice OR text chat for interactive discussions

  • Consent is valued in our spaces. You are free to decide when and how much you want to participate in our interactive activities, and you don’t have to participate at all if you don’t feel comfortable doing so!
