Meet Our Staff

Core leadership team


Indigo Hann

Indigo Hann (they/all) serves as MO Ho Justice’s Healing Justice Programming and Leadership Development lead. They settled in Osage land (St. Louis city) in 2015, led the St. Louis chapter of Sex Workers Outreach Project in 2018-19, and co-founded the MO Ho Justice Coalition in 2020. Indigo is passionate about expanding access to community-based violence prevention, healing, education, and mutual aid for people harmed by whorephobia, white-body supremacy, queerphobia, (cis)sexism, ableism, and classism.

Miyonnee Hickman

Miyonnee Hickman (she/her) is MO Ho Justice’s Community Outreach lead. She currently resides in St. Louis, MO where she was born and raised. In 2019, Miyonnee was interviewed for the State of the Hustle Report, and has grown in/with MO Ho Justice since. She is passionate about everything! Music and family being first, LGBTQ+ Equality, Transgender Rights as well as inclusion, Sex Worker Rights, Reproductive Freedom/Justice, HIV/STI education/testing, and just the inclusion of us all as humans.

Rachel Hurtado

Rachel Hurtado (she/they) currently serves the coalition as the Advocacy and Development lead. She moved from Oklahoma to St. Louis in 2019, and joined MO Ho Justice after graduating from the MHJ 2021 Advocacy Bootcamp. Rachel is passionate about abolitionist organizing, policy advocacy for sex worker rights, and building community through collective care rituals.

Skyler Whittaker

Skyler Whittaker (they/them) is the Digital Design and Accessibility lead (and in-house librarian) for MO Ho Justice. They grew up in the Kansas City area on both sides of the state line, and currently reside in KCMO. After joining the coalition in 2020, Skyler became more deeply involved in MO Ho through the 2021 Advocacy Bootcamp. They are passionate about disability justice organizing, inclusive design, multimedia storytelling, and connecting people with information and resources that help meet their needs.

Additional Staff


Danaira (Dana) Vargas

Danaira Vargas (she/her) is the coalition’s Community Education and Outreach co-lead. After relocating from Puerto Rico to St. Louis, Dana joined MO Ho Justice in October 2021 to build community with other sex workers. In January 2022, Dana joined the MO Ho staff as part of her social work practicum, and continues to serve the community through public education (as the brain behind “Thotty Thursday” PSAs), healing justice programming, and street outreach.

Grace C.

Grace C. (she/they) is native to St. Louis and currently resides in South City. She became involved with MO Ho Justice attending MHJ 2021 Advocacy Bootcamp. Grace is focused on the street outreach program, healing justice, and coalition building within MO Ho Justice. She is dedicated to catalyzing, nurturing and facilitating radical change in our direct communities.
