Celebrate Día de Muertos with MO Ho Justice at our FINAL Heal Meal of 2023!
Instead of a discussion, we will invite our loved ones in the after-life to join us as honored guests for a celebration of their lives. Even death will not stop us from uniting in community!
Before celebrating, we’ll have the opportunity to care for our grief in quiet meditative space, with peer grief support/spiritual care, and/or through prayer and ritual. We’ll prepare the altar, then join both living and dead members of our community to feast, dance, and reminisce!
What’s for dinner: A potluck-style meal made with love by MO Ho staff + community members!
Potluck contributions (labeled with allergens) are welcome, but not expected.
Feel free to bring:
your guest’s favorite food to share
printed and/or digital photos of your guest, or other small tokens
offerings for the altar
their favorite songs to sing/dance to
favorite stories/memories of your guest
candles
flowers
