10 Days of Trans Demands is an annual campaign from the ACLU of Missouri’s Trans Justice Program. Each year, the campaign highlights a different aspect of trans life and community. In 2018, we charged trans allies to come out for National Coming Out Day. In 2019, we focused on making plain our Demands for a Trans Future. This year, we implore all Missourians to Thank a Sex Worker.
From stigma to criminalization, sex workers get a bad rap. 10 Days of Trans Demands 2020 is here to change that. By proudly thanking sex workers for the culture-shifting work they do, often with no respect or care in return, we can recertify their access to civil liberties.
