About the workshop:
When we are unsure how to find pleasure in boundaries we can often feel isolated and closed off from the connections that we yearn for. Boundaries become rules we use to police our relationships and fixed standards that can be frustrating or anxiety-inducing when met with the responsibility to be constantly enforcing them. As a collective many of us have been working hard to elevate our understanding of the necessity of boundaries. Many of us are employing new tools and techniques to set and maintain boundaries. This is an offering to hold space for furthering this conversation and centering pleasure.
Content warning:
During this workshop participants will be invited to reflect and share past experiences with boundary setting in order to connect with the sensations that accompanied these encounters. Folks may feel compelled to bring up experiences that involved harm, assault, or misconduct. Use discretion if the possibility for these conversations feel like what you have capacity to engage in at this moment.
